i thought the mix was well done, i kinda like the hi-hats as is. since its a trap base kinda track.

midimachine responds:

idk i think people were right about the hats being too loud - the finished version has em a little more subdued (also less bright)

but tyvm!

man i really like those arps. lol

this is danceable :P wish i could make something danceable :/

thanks for the share>

IfollowMessiah responds:

Thank you for the comment! :)

started to dig into this after 2:00 it was kinda like i was on happy juice :P but i guess the main lead did out stay its welcome, from looking at it another view.

I thought the intro wubble bass design was cool, but the drums playing with it was little weak for my likin;

it was interesting thanks for the share.

Jarvission responds:

Same to you my friend! Thanks for the comment!

the mix is clean, but I feel like the guitar is kinda drowned out by the bass when it enters :/

gotz that nice driving beat which i do enjoyed alot.

nothng else to say other then thanks for sharing your work out into world. :)

Dylnmatrix responds:

Thanks man, we're always happy to provide the world with the sounds in our heads!

Thanks for letting us know about the guitar, I didn't notice anything wrong with the guitar and bass playing together when mastering and listening just now, but I'll keep it in mind when I go over all of our tracks in the EP and give them a final touch up master to make things sound better.

Oh dam i stumbleupon this when looking through ng youtube, you give me inspiration :D

vocals totally reminds me of "Does It Offend You, Yeah?" but a chilled down version :O nothing else to say but looking forward to the finish track :P thanks for sharing.

Free2Play responds:

Thanks man! I honestly try as hard as I can to not make it seem like my vocals are any sort of a feature, I'm really trying to push the production cause I'm not a practiced singer. I really need lessons, and really only use my voice cause its the most convenient when you want vocals. Only if I need specific talent would I call on one of my much more talented friends lol.

Impressive, did you do the vocals?

Melody has got a nice chill feeling while dancing with the bass dives, then i felt it ended so fast.
The kick could be alittle louder or punch through the track more, the rest of the mix sounds well on my headsets but I didnt check it on my monitors/sub since it 2am :P

anyways thanks for sharing.

Pandasticality responds:

thanks for the review, no their not my vocals, i cant sing, their a fellow colleagues.

JandreParis responds:

curious on what kinda synths did you tested?

hmm i'm guessing the low end could do with alittle power init for my taste :P

@1:00 could do with some taming of that hi-distortion, sounds like between 5-10khz maybe

anyways interesting work keep goin;!

ADR3-N responds:

Been playing around with Abakos, Adonis, and Texture 1.2, as well as Samsara kick, Black Noh Snare, and GTG free drum. Abakos is the hardest to work with. Glad you liked!

totally needs to be finished :P
